Although ash is often a highly mis-understood ingredient, it contains essential minerals that are needed for every-day physiological functioning. In the case of our feeds it holds a very important role and will never be used as a “filler” or “bulk” ingredient. Instead it is a key component which helps support the health and well-being of our beloved pets.

We add extra Glucosamine and Chondroitin to many of our foods. Chondroitin Sulphate and Glucosamine Sulphate are key structural components in cartilage and are classed as amino-sugars. These have proven benefits to both older, and larger breeds of dog, where joint mobility is often challenged

Yes, we have 9 diets suitable for those with sensitivities including most recent Field & Trial Grain Free. Depending on your dog’s needs, we are able to give nutritional advice and recommend the best diet for your dog.

We do not add any artificial flavours or colours to any of our products.

The entire Field & Trial range is made in our own Suffolk Mill, based in Stradbroke. Where possible we try and use locally sourced ingredients from the fields surrounding the mill.

We recommend swapping your puppy to junior at the age of 6 months and then onto an adult diet at 18 months of age – however, much of this is age, breed and activity level dependent. If you would like any help in choosing the next diet for your dog contact us.

The Stradbroke Mill has been in the Skinner family for seven generations. We have been manufacturing our dog foods since the early 1970’s.
